Rod has been working and teaching in the art field for the last 30, or so years after receiving a BA in art with a concentration in Graphic design. Rod's fondest memories of attending and graduating from CSULA was that he didn't use any computers to do his artwork. Drawing, painting, photography and design was all done by hand. Well, there were cameras, but you get the point. What does that mean to you? It means that he really understands the art, and that he doesn't use computers as a crutch. Sure everything now adays is done on computers, which is fine, but it sure is nice to hire someone who actually knows how to frame a photograph without letting the computer app photo editor do it for you.
